At Pensacola Chiropractic and Dry Needling, patients have many different options for treatment and therapy to treat and rehabilitate injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Extremity Adjustment is a chiropractic technique that involves the manual manipulation of joints outside the spine—such as those in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles—to restore proper alignment and improve function. This therapy helps relieve pain, enhance mobility, and support overall joint health in the limbs.
Dry Needling is a skilled therapeutic technique that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into trigger points within muscles to relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve range of motion. It targets neuromuscular dysfunction and is often used to treat chronic pain, muscle tightness, and sports-related injuries.
Active Release Therapy (ART) is a targeted, movement-based technique that treats soft tissue disorders by combining precise manual pressure with specific patient movements. It is designed to break up adhesions, restore normal tissue function, and improve range of motion in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.
Myofascial Release is a specialized manual therapy technique that targets the fascia—connective tissue surrounding muscles—to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and release tension. By applying gentle, pressure to restricted areas, this therapy helps restore optimal function and promote overall musculoskeletal balance.
Chiropractic treatment for car accident injuries focuses on restoring proper spinal alignment, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain caused by trauma such as whiplash or soft tissue damage. Through personalized care plans involving spinal adjustments, therapeutic exercises, and soft tissue therapies, chiropractors support long-term recovery and improved mobility.
Chiropractic treatment for sports injuries focuses on diagnosing and addressing musculoskeletal imbalances, joint dysfunctions, and soft tissue injuries to promote faster recovery and enhance athletic performance. Through a combination of spinal adjustments, extremity manipulation, and rehabilitative therapies, chiropractors help athletes reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent future injuries.
